A new Search tab lets you find any game by title within a chosen system — across every regional spelling. Add it to your collection with a tap, no box or barcode required.
Game Details now open on a full-bleed gameplay screenshot with subtle CRT scanlines. The classic icon hero remains as a fallback when no screenshot is available yet.
Browsing and searching the catalogue feel noticeably smoother, and release data now updates atomically — so a shaky connection can no longer wipe games from your details view.
Game details now show a loading indicator while data is being fetched. If you’re offline, a clear message lets you know to try again when you have a connection — no more silent failures.
Box art recognition now supports Famicom Disk System, MSX, PlayStation 2, and PSP.
Point your camera at a game box and RetroKeeper will identify it using on-device image recognition. The correct regional release is automatically detected — whether you’re scanning a Japanese, North American, or PAL version.
Tap anywhere on the camera preview to focus on your game box for a sharper, more accurate scan.
When a game has multiple regional releases, RetroKeeper now shows the one matching the box you’re holding, with the correct local title displayed prominently.
